The FEI Dressage, Para Dressage and U25 European Championships Vejle 2027 will be held at the Randbøl Dressage Academy (historically known as the Blue Hors facilities), perfectly situated in the scenic heart of Denmark. Whether you are arriving by train, road or air, getting here is simple and straightforward. If you’re a local you might even consider no car is needed and simply take the beautiful bike trail running from Vejle through Bindeballe.

🚂 By Train

If you are traveling from Copenhagen, Germany, or other parts of Denmark, the rail network brings you right into the region’s main transit hub.

  • Primary Station: Arrive at Vejle Station (Vejle Trafikcenter).
  • Travel Times: Intercity trains connect Copenhagen to Vejle in roughly 2 hours, and Aarhus in about 45 minutes.
  • Connecting to the Venue: From Vejle Station, the venue is roughly 15 km away. You can easily catch a local taxi from the station ranks, or take Bus 143 directly toward the venue (approx. 25-minute bus ride).

🚗 By Car

Driving to the venue offers great flexibility, with seamless connections to Denmark’s major highways.

  • From the South/North (E45): Take the E45 motorway toward Vejle. Take Exit 61 (Vejle S) or follow Route 28/Route 176 heading west toward Billund/Randbøl.
  • From Copenhagen (E20): Follow the E20 across the Great Belt Bridge, merge onto the E45 northbound at Kolding, and exit toward Vejle/Billund.
  • Parking: Ample on-site parking will be available for spectators, with dedicated accessible parking close to the main entrance. Follow the official event signage as you approach Randbøl.

✈️ By Air (From Billund Airport)

Billund Airport (BLL) is Denmark’s second-largest airport and your primary gateway to the event, offering direct flights from major European hubs.

  • Proximity: The academy is located just 12 km (approx. 10–15 minutes) east of the airport terminals.
  • Taxi & Rideshare: Taxis are readily available right outside the arrivals hall. A direct ride to the venue takes about 10 minutes.
  • Public Transit: Take Bus 43 from the airport to Billund Centret, and switch to Bus 143, which drops off near Randbøl.
