Vejle, Denmark will become the centre of international dressage in August 2027 when it hosts the FEI European Championships for Senior Dressage, Under 25 Dressage, and Para Dressage at the state-of-the-art Randbøl Dressage Academy.
The FEI officially awarded the 2027 European Dressage and Para Dressage Championships to be hosted at Randbøl, recognizing both Denmark’s strong equestrian tradition and the venue’s ambition to become a leading international destination for the sport. The championship will take place at the former Blue Hors facility, now operating as Randbøl Dressage Academy, which has undergone extensive development to create a world-class competition environment.
A pathway for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games
The 2027 European Championships are expected to feature an exceptionally strong field because the event will play a crucial role in the qualification pathway for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. National federations will have the opportunity to secure valuable quota places, adding further importance to every performance at the Vejle Championships.
With Olympic qualification on the line, Europe’s leading dressage nations—including Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Sweden and Belgium—are expected to bring their strongest teams and top combinations. The championship is therefore likely to become one of the most competitive European dressage events in recent history.
Three Major Championships in One Venue
The event will unite three of the sport’s premier championships:
· FEI European Dressage Championships for Seniors
· FEI European Championships for Under 25 Riders
· FEI European Para Dressage Championships
By hosting senior, U25 and para-athletes at the same venue, Vejle2027 will showcase the full breadth of elite dressage sport while creating a unique championship atmosphere for competitors, owners, breeders, sponsors and spectators alike.
