Randbøl Dressage Academy is based at Korshøjgaard in Randbøl, one of Denmark’s most prestigious equestrian properties and the former home of the internationally renowned Blue Hors stud. Today, the facility is owned and operated by the Obel family and Danish dressage professional Dennis Fisker, who have transformed the venue into a centre for training, breeding, education and major international events.
The academy’s mission is to create a holistic dressage environment founded on professional excellence, horse welfare, breeding, grassroots participation and elite sport. It aims to bring together ambitious stakeholders from across the equestrian industry while opening the historic Korshøjgaard estate to a wider equestrian community through competitions, championships, clinics and educational activities.
The venue is widely regarded as one of the finest dressage facilities in Scandinavia, featuring extensive stabling, training arenas, breeding and veterinary facilities, and infrastructure designed to accommodate both top-level sport and horse development. The academy is currently undertaking a major expansion programme ahead of the FEI European Dressage and Para Dressage Championships in Vejle 2027.
As part of the preparations, two large championship arenas are being developed, including a new main stadium with covered grandstands, VIP hospitality areas, enhanced warm-up facilities and improved spectator infrastructure. The upgraded championship grounds are designed to host Europe’s leading riders, horses and fans, with the Danish Championships in Dressage serving as a test event ahead of the Vejle 2027 European Championships.
